Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit, Vercel processes the data needed to deliver the page: IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser and operating system. This is needed to serve the site, keep it stable and fend off attacks.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with Vercel under Art. 28 GDPR. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which permits transfers to the US (Art. 45 GDPR). Logs are kept only briefly, then deleted. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Cookies

We set one cookie. If you switch the site's language yourself, we remember your choice in a cookie called "locale" for one year. It holds only the language code and is strictly necessary for the feature you asked for (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG), so no consent is needed.

Fonts

All fonts are served from our own server. Loading the site makes no connection to Google Fonts or any other font provider.

Contacting us by email

When you email us, we process your email address, name and message to answer you. If it's about working together, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; otherwise it's our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the data once your enquiry is dealt with, unless statutory retention duties apply (e.g. § 147 AO for business correspondence).

Booking a call via Cal.com

The "Book a free call" button takes you to our booking page on Cal.com, Inc. (USA). Only when you book does Cal.com receive your details (such as name, email and chosen time) and pass them to us so we can prepare and hold the call (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Cal.com uses appropriate safeguards under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR for transfers to the US. See Cal.com's privacy policy.

Links to LinkedIn and X

We link to our profiles on LinkedIn and X. These are plain links, not plugins. No data is sent until you click one; from then on, that provider's privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Withdraw consent at any time, for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

Right to object: Where processing rests on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

A short email to pau@tomorrowcameearly.com is enough. You can also complain to a data protection authority, such as the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.

Encryption

The site is served over HTTPS only, so data you send us can't be read by third parties in transit.

Automated decisions

We make no automated decisions and do no profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

Language

This is a translation for convenience. The German version is the binding one.
